This lovely Mother of Pearl Silk Winder Jewelry Pendant is wrapped with 14k gold fill wire. It has billing birds on one side and a lovely flower design on the other. The Silk Winder was made in the 1840’s’.

When the Europeans stopped ordering Gaming Counters in the 1840s the Chinese began creating these lovely silk winders.
